5 dives 4 Hours 12 minutes

Flew into Orlando and met with Cathy, until Dave got off work. Met up and stopped by the Pulse memorial before driving down to West Palm Beach. Hung out and stayed at the Residence Inn Marriott.

Elevator Shaft and Fourth Window:
59’ for 59 minutes, 80° and 60’ for 60 minutes, 80°

Colorful dives, lots of big sponges and different corals. The reef has a couple of ledges but a fairly flat reef.  Saw a couple of turtles, nice variety of fish. Fourth Window is a continuation on of Elevator Shaft. Saw a couple of green morays, and good sized lionfish.

Danny, Atlantis, & Spud Barge
77’ for 51 minutes, 80°

Three interesting wreck sites. Danny is an intentionally sunk wreck sitting upright in about 80’ of water.  Drifted through Atlantis, a wrecked with a few sunken statues, as well as the sunken devices used to raise and lower the bridges.  Spud Barge is an upside down barge that has the sides cut off for plenty of swim throughs.

North Double Ledge (Super Secret NDL)
75’ for 37 minutes, 80°

This site sounded very interesting during the dive briefings. However, we were dropped at the end portion of the reef.  The site was just alright, it wasn’t anything impressive, but would like to do the actual site though.

West Palm Triangle
83’ for 45 minutes, 81°

Three wrecks right out of the marina. They start off around 80’ so at night we descended down through the darkness seeing nothing until the wreck appears. It was a larger wreck covered corals, loads of sun corals.  Decent current on the dive, would like to do this one again during the day.
