The Corridor
87’ for 54 minutes
75°
A fun set of a few wrecks starting with the Mizphah, PC1170 and then the Amaryllis. The Mizpah is 185’ and upright, intact with three levels for penetration. The PC1174 is 160’ and broken up into two pieces. All that remains of the Amaryllis is the 450’ hull and bottom deck.
There were five different goliath groupers at the very start of the dive. The groupers were very vocal and could hear them “thumping” while trying to attract a mate. On the other wrecks there were additional groupers, and three turtles.
North Double Ledge
79’ for 52 minutes
77°
Ledge dive, with two different ledges. Lots of smaller fish, several juvenile drums and angelfish. The end of the dive had a nurse shark sleeping under one of the ledges.
Blue Heron Bridge
July 3rd
Dive Buddy: Dave Karabag, Kody Connelly
20’ for 104 minutes
82°
A nice long dive, typical on the bridge. Still no manatees, but maybe one day! Stayed mostly on the west side of the bridge towards the rock pile.

Airplane Barge
44’ for 61 minutes
88°
This site at one time had an airplane chained to the top of a barge. Due to storms and weather the airplane has been broken up and scattered around the barge. The wings of the plane have minimal growth on them, but plenty of decorator crabs and other smaller inverts. There was an interesting oyster toadfish hanging out in one of the cracks. The barge has several large holes cut into it, but nothing big enough for any major penetration. The barge itself has lots of growth and fish life making for an interesting dive.
Circle of Heroes
45’ for 59 minutes
88°
The Circle of Heroes is a memorial sunk on August 5th, 2019. There are 12 different life size statues honouring each of the 5 service branches arranged together in a circle. In the center of the circle sits a pentagon memorial with bronze emblems of the 5 branches. Most of the statues have heave growth of corals, muscles and other marine life some completely covering the statue.
